Because NB_Store is very flexible this can create complexity however looking through the installation guides on this site it is quite easy (IMO) to create a basic storefront. Many of the setup is not of a technical nature but more of a "how you want the store to operate" type decisions.
This flexibility is one of the strengths of NB_Store compared to other storefronts.
While other members may respond to your request, this community is always helpful to guide other members through the installation and configuration of NB_Store.
To establish a basic storefront, there is no requirement to "manipulate your coding", it will only require you to place pages within DNN and configure the settings as to how you want to operate the store such as categories, shipping etc. These are all aspects that this community can help you through.
From my experience the basic installation and setup is not unlike other solutions, however the range of options to make NB_Store be suitable for a wide range of business requirements.
