From my website (and having checked this from multiple computers, including ones I don't own) the checkout is only offering 2 choices, Pay with my PayPal account and Create a PayPal Account.
I would like my customers to have the option to not have to create an account.
I contacted PayPal about this and they say it has to do with passing the State through as the country, specifically:
"Hello Chad,
I see the guest checkout option just fine (see attached screen shot). However, as you can see in the screen shot, your shopping cart is passing the State through as the Country which may cause you issues because not all countries have the guest checkout option available. I entered California for the State and it redirected me with &country=CA which you can see in the URL and also it pre-populated the checkout with Canada. You'll need to talk to your shopping cart provider, your developer, or if you are the developer you will need to change that mapping in the code."
Now that I think about it, I remember doing something with the setup having to do with tax calculation where you somehow have States mimic countries? Ah yes...from here: https://nbstore.codeplex.com/discussions/244259.
So I think this tax situation work around is what is causing the above???
So for now, I guess I will have to undo this and not collect tax. But I wanted to make you guys aware of this...If my thinking is correct, this is something that would be nice to have addressed.
