Hello,
I posted yesterday this, and I'm moving my open thread here, since it is just the same issue...
I've been checking any letter of the code, trying all possible combinations in clicking speed, with auto return or not, but the results are always the same:
summarizing, it seems that it's not possible to have for the same transaction both the correct return to the confirmation stage in the checkout page (tabid/##/stg/5/ordID/[ORDERID]) AND "Payment OK" (resulting from the correct IPN data exchange - tabid/##/stg/4/Default.aspx).
it seems to me that the store should have to find a way to wait a kind of consensus, a positive or negative feedback before moving the order in the next stage, or, at least, to have the procedure delayed of few seconds...
in my opinion, it could only be a matter of time (on the NB end), waiting to pace with the IPN connection...
is there any factual chance that what I'm feeling could be possible?
thank you
Pino

- if you close quickly the transaction, clicking fast in paypal payment stage, one can more easily expect to be successfully pleased by the "thank You..." checkout good return, but payment will be 'not ok'
-
letting all the time to the system, normally results in 'payment ok', along with the misleading empty checkout page with no order confirmation (and here, in cases in which you have a wrong URL management, you could also experience a wrong redirection - that's why the client looks like to be "kicked away" from the site: in fact, if the client clicked on the 'store' link of the menu once redirected, he would have realized that he was not out, simply it was a wrong redirection case, and you can prove this deactivating the friendly URL option, and do again the process logged as a test customer)
