I'm not sure what you mean, but it sounds like you want to show

Image 1 here,
Image 2 there,
Image 3 over there.

i.e. each image is to go somewhere specific.

Each image uploaded to a product in the store has it's own token.. Image 1 is gallery1, image 2 is gallery2 and so on.
That means you can put those tokens anywhere in your template.

This would of course replace the standard gallery.

Note that you can specify product detail templates per category. This allows you have a standard gallery template for one category and a special gallery/image template for another.
