New Post: C# version available for download

Hi Thenrich,

I do think its very good what you have done and I'm sure all the C# developers are also very happy with your contribution.

We are all here to benefit from all open source modules that are available to us for free.

First off, without trying to offending/upset you, if it wasn't for Dave taking the time to create this great module you wouldn't have a module to copy, convert and take credit for converting it.

We all (where possible) contribute and give back the the Dnn eco system/NB Store project to help others and better the whole platform.

It doesn't matter if there are popups or not, its the fact that we all know about these download sites and I NEVER use them.

I had clicked on the link that you had posted, the first thing I did when I saw the download site was to click away very quickly, therefore the chances of some other person that knows what is good or bad practice would do the same. This means that your code would not get downloaded that much at all.

If you had looked into the project as a whole you would have seen how to submit code/fixes/conversions and where to place code for download. As Sizzlers said: 'Dropbox, Skydrive, GoogleDrive or similar'

Maybe it would be better for you to look at other options like the solutions above, all free, and trust worthy from big companies that are not using popups to generate revenue, upload the zip another time and re-post the link instead of complaining and trying to prove your point about popups and the zip file integrity!

Geoff
