there is only one instance of the module afaik (I have "un-detached" the module(s), so this should work).
I found out a strange thing this mornig, e.g. I am on the German page, and when I hover over the "View wishlist" link in the minicart module, the link displayed in the status line says something with /tabid/103/ (which is the neutral/English page!). So it seems that the token [Setting:wishlist.tab] only uses the neutral setting and not the localized one.
I'll investigate on that...
