Thanks Dave, performed the steps you recommended. BO found 7 errors and fixed them. Unfortunately it is still the same as before. Changed web.config to "humanfriendly" and no difference. I also don't quite understand your comment "When moving/importing store templates the DB image path keeps the old path. ". This is a clean setup. I haven't moved any templates or imported any. And the path is actually invalid because the website name is missing.
