From what I remember the sale price scheduler, just calculates the new sale price and places the result on the DB. So I don't think it's this causing an issue.
The sale price is read into DNN cache, so from the sound of it, I would guess that the DNN cache is clearing for some reason?
What version of DNN are you on, what language are you running and have you found anything in the DNN event log that could explain the DNN cache being cleared?
