Thanks Dave for the clarification, but then why is it working this way? i.e. Why is it not showing the modelselector when there are 2 models and one has stock and one does not, and the outofstockmodels.flag is set to true.
In the demo store I have set this scenario up, except I am not able to access the outofstockmodels.flag setting so not sure what it is set to, but on my instance it is true and yet no model selector shows up unless I modify that test action as specified above.
Here is a product I set up with 2 models but only 1 has stock, and no model selector displays. If I change both to have stock, then it does.
