New Post: Ciritical error when adding product to checkout or going to the checkout page

thanks for that.

we have now got the scheduled task running.

All products and categories use the same template. Also there seems to be no correlation between broken products and categories. Although most of the products sit in multiple categories. ie all weddings dress sit in the category weeding dresses but may also sit in 'strapless' and also '2014 collection' and 'lace'

have downloaded the xml for products and compared working products against broken ones but can not see in problem there.

I'm now thinking that the promotions that were set up and were running have left some traces behind somewhere despite them having been deleted. I'm thinking that when the "broken product" is added to the cart the cart then goes looking for the promotion which of course it can't find which is what is throwing the error.

What I don't know is where I would even start looking for these stray bits of code let alone how to get rid of them.

Have also used the "purge file system" in BO>Admin and of course "restart DNN Application"

Really starting to run out of ideas here
