New Post: Adding region to Country List issue

Has anyone found a solution in regards to adding custom countries/regions to the store??

After renaming the region name, i can't seem to see it under the country drop down while adding shipping method using countries in the backend.

Below are the steps i took to add regions to the store:

1. Created a list called StoreCountry.en-US and added three regions i.e. Auckland, North Island(renamed from Northland to North Island) , South Island.
   
2. Added setting value under country.list as per the dnn list i created(used comma"," as a separator between each value).
   
3. Cleared application cache, recycled application pool and restarted the server, but still not able to make it work.
   
4. If i change the region name from North Island to Northland(which was the initial text) then it works fine.
   

I'm feeling lost now.
