Hi guys,
Hope everyone is well, it's been a while since I've posted for nbstore, but still rocking it!
On checkout, is there a way to do a PO? I'm not sure if this concept is familiar or common practice outside the US (please excuse my ignorance there), but using a Purchase Order, PO or sometimes called NET 30 is purchasing on credit and terms - typically used only for business to business transactions. For example:
Biz B comes to our site (Biz A), has established (off-site) credit terms and is allowed to purchase with those terms (say balance (NET) due in 30 days with a credit limit of $10k USD). Biz B does their shopping, checks out, and for Biz A's purposes, merely has to enter a PO# and a Contact/Authorized By person's name. No payment at this time. Biz A receives the order, see's it's NET30, processes and ships the order with a bill. Biz B then mails a check or other wise to Biz A, and at that time the Biz A marks the order as paid for.
This seems similar to the Manual Check option that seems to be built into nbstore, but I'm puzzled as to if there is a PO# field we can turn on for the customer to enter their PO#. The PO# simply being a reference number that Biz B is issued from their accounting dept for this specific purchase that they'll want to appear on the nbstore receipt/email(s).
Best
AND AGAIN THANK YOU FOR NBSTORE!!
