First, either follow my post in this thread, or follow the rest of this thread. Don't mix it up, they are not the same thing.
If you read and follow my post, then first make the specifications tab sample work as indicated.
When that works, replicate the specifications tab sample code in productxmldata.template and in productdetail.template, changing id's to suit.
Note that the details template has the code in two places - once for the tab header and once for the tab body. each new tab needs both.
Look at the sample code and also the other tabs in product details template to see how the id's are used. Your new id's need to be unique as well.
