The feature set of the final project is a quite bit more extensive than what I had posted. I was going for a simplified post :) In my past I helped create a fairly robust web to print system for printing plastic inventory ID cards via the web. This implementation will be vastly different in many regards but custom printing feature set will be similar.
My client already has an ERP in house they mostly satisfied with. I'm assisting them in some modifications, but that is outside the scope of the web/nb project. I will be building a custom connector that will flow XML back and forth between the DNN db and their ERP to help keep orders, proofs, etc in sync.
My biggest concern I'm trying to address is simply to learn how I can place a custom div or control into NB's product details page which is driven, not from NB inventory, but from my own custom code behind (VB,c#,SQL,whatever). Once I have this simple premise working the rest should just be elaborating on it to add my intended and full feature set ;)
Will Dave see this post or is there a better way to reach him to help get me jump started?
