I think you might be talking about cascading dropdowns... where selecting from the first dropdown determines what is on the next dropdown.
This feature is not in the store. The only way around it is to carefully consider how you structure your categories, models and product options to give the best results. If there are overlapping options for a product, then consider splitting it into multiple products.
There is a button to copy a product as a new product. The intent with that feature is that the store owner would configure some products as template products that are used for repeatedly creating products that have the same options.
That can also help with this process.
