Content doesnt have related ressourcefiles, so u cant translate ur sites content thru the ressourcefiles.
Ressourcefiles contain translations only for the things u didnt put there urself, like a photo gallery module will have labels displaying like "Next", "Previous" aso., those will appear in its ressourcefiles and for every language installed on the portal, therell be the possibility to add a translation for them.
I havent tried the one Dave linked so i cant tell u how that one works, but the moule "Nuntio Content" can be used instead of the Text/HTML module where multilanguge support is needed for the site content.
