This release combines several sponsored and voluntary changes, features and fixes. This is most of it:
- allowzeroshipping.flag - Use this to force zero-cost shipping methods to display during checkout. These are normally hidden. This can be used to provide additional free shipping or store pickup methods.
- cookiecart.byuser - This special purpose flag optionally separates cart cookies for anonymous and authenticated users. Do not use this unless you know what you are using it for.
- cartthumbs.flag - Enables product thumbnails in the checkout - Cool! But note that this does not respect the diskthumbnails.flag setting and is therefore always dynamic.
- cartthumb.size - Size of above thumbnails
- Company name - Create a custom profile field called "CompanyName" and this will populate the company name field in the address collector and throughout the order.
- Country profile field now correctly populates the address collector upon registration. Note that this field does not update the user profile when the "Set ad default address" checkbox is ticked.
- Products listed in the checkout are now linked to their respective product pages.
- Individual shipping methods can be hidden or displayed to anonymous users or dealers.
- MainMenu.xml removed from PA as this has been part of ManagerMenu.xml for some time
- Minor validation errors in language files resolved
- tabbedcontent.flag is now off by default
- optionseperator.text - text that separates product options when displayed during the checkout and in orders. Defaults to "/"
- productdetail.template - Added separate classes to each option row for separate styling. Added a fourth default option.
- stylesheet.css - Various tweaks for better skin compatibility. Removed some colours, made adjustments for DNN6 default CSS, all new checkout steps in HTML/CSS for easier fit to your own skin, rest of checkout adjusted to match.
The release prior to this version had many changes, but I did not get around to listing them at the time. Just having a quick look back now, I can see the following of note:
- Several new reports included
- Existing reports fixed up with last name column
- Hidden special feature to hide any given model from dealer roles by inserting "-1" into the dealer price field.
- All new checkout steps were actually added in this release, but restyled in latest above
- Default email addresses and domain names in templates changed to xxxxx.yyy to avoid problems.
- Separate classes for main image and gallery images for easier styling
- Changed address display in order templates from tables to divs to allow rows to collapse when some fields are missing
- Loads of other CSS tweaks and changes for a cleaner look
- New stylesheetoverride.css template for inserting custom CSS that overrides the main stylesheet.css - Avoids having to wreck the default CSS, which in turn makes it easier to upgrade to the latest templates.
- logintext.text - Now includes login templates for DN5,6 and 6 with popups. Uncomment the one you need.
- Improvements to default import/export mapping templates
- Page size dropdown added
- Referrer tracking and report added
As always, simply upgrading the module does not also overwrite and upgrade all of your existing templates and settings. See this KB entry for information on upgrading.
