New Post: Major flaw.. no stock for options!!

I'm trying to set up a t-shirt store. I don't know if I'm missing something or what, but it seems impossible to set it up the right way.

Here's a simple scenario.
Let say I have 20 t-shirts all the same model. 10 of them is white, 10 is black. Both colors have 5 different sizes.

I create a new product with one model, then add 2 options. One for the colors one for sizes. All set right? No.. because I can't control my inventory as options don't have stock fields.. so I'd have to do the inventory manually. No good.
So what is the "options" feature good for, without stock?? I don't get it.

The only way I see making this work to set up different models per color size:

1. Black t-shirt - small
2. Black t-shirt - medium
   Etc.
   But this is no good either because I'd have to create 10 different models for the 20 t-shirts that are all the same except size and color.. that means 10 radio buttons on the product detail page.
   

I have nearly 500 t-shirts and lots of different colors so adding different models for colors/sizes isn't really an option.. nor keeping a manual inventory.

Is there any workaround, tweak, fix or something??
I'm really bummed because I like nbstore very much.. I don't want to end up on a hosted service like Shopify and I can't afford any of the high end DNN carts.. I tried setting up Catalook but gave up after 2 days.. what a nightmare that piece of junkware..
