I had 5,000 clicks from Adwords

Bounce Rate 85%

remains 750 visits of really interested people that navigated through the NB Store web shop

50 visitors ordered a product and went to checkout page
5 left site after seeing checkout page
42 went elsewhere on site
3 filled in shipment form
only 1 really payed by PayPal

This cannot completely be explained by that 21% Dutch VAT tax was not included in the shop price. OK some visitors could have thought seeing it in checkout added: "Oh 21% tax extra that is to expensive for me" Although it was mentioned on several places of the web site that 21% VAT tax was not included. I changed the prices when I got this insight.

Some maybe bounced because of only Credit Card and PayPal, no Debit Card or Online Banking. Though 60% of internet payments go by Credit Card and PayPal

So this can also not completely explain my almost 0% conversion factor.

Can there be another explanation?

PS: Conversion Factor should as best guess be between 0.35% and 2.35% in my (art) market, I got this from my role model competitor and an online marketing company that did statistics on 1,000 web shops
