First bit of advise... reduce the aspirin intake, it will rip your stomach to pieces... :(
Generally speaking and running NB_Store for many years in production I can say that it is rock solid, if problems occur it is generally outside NB_Store, other modules, database, hard disk etc.
I have from time to time used a number of third party modules both free and paid, however where possible I tend to eventually write my own which gives me better compatibility and supportability.
For a couple of years now I have kept a server log book where I enter changes made to the server or applications, this comes from the fact that some issues in production do not show their ugly face immediately, this allows me to roll back to a point in time from backups quickly if required or to investigate these changes. Also helps when you are getting older and doing too many things :)
